More pictures of me...And my dad!

I like to curl up and sleep on the bed, it is nice and soft. I also like to cuddle with my dad. I miss him when he is at work all day, so we spend some extra time together at night. As you can see I also like to sleep sideways, and stretch out! It makes my parents laugh, and leaves my mom wondering where she is going to sleep. Good thing we own a king size bed and nothing smaller!

Pray for Casper

Casper is an American Eskimo Dog that also has a blog. Click here to read about Caspers critical condition, and please send good vibes, and prayers his way...and also on behalf of his people. There is also a Eskie message board that you can read to get the updates on Caspers condition. (page one of the message board is the start, I had to figure this out, I kept looking for updated and realized I had to turn the pages!)

One of my many resting spots...

I love to lay on the landing in our house. I'm glad that our stairs have a railing and not a wall, so that I can see. I like to look out and over things. I will sleep, play, relax, bark, chew on my toys, and look cute all on the landing! Sometimes, like in this picture I rest my chin on the wood that's a couple inches above the carpet, and put my paws up there too!

I can be a helper!

I like to help my mom do the dishes. As you can see from he picture, washing them is what I do best...or pre-washing! My mom makes sure that it is safe for me to do this, and that she didn't cut anything on the cutting board that would make me sick. I think this time it was hot dogs, yummy! I rarely get to help in the kitchen, usually she is always telling me "out", but sometimes I am sneaky and creep up behind her so that she won't see me. But by the time she turns around and does see me, I can't stop licking, it's just sooo yummy! Maybe I am licking cheese, I can't remember.

Dirt is for digging in, right?!

I like to go outside a dig a hole for my treats. My yard has a garden area that the owners before us had, but no garden so it is just dirt and weeds. Sometimes I get dirty, and as you can see from the pictures Sometimes I get dirt on my nose. My mom has never been able to get a picture of a piece of dirt this big.

Did someone say hair-ball???

My mom holding my fur, a few brush fulls.
My dad's feet by all of my fur.
Look at all that fur!

When my mom brushes me, she gets a lot of my fur in the brush. I don't really enjoy being brushed, so she only brushes me for a little while. The house is always furry after and then my mom has to vacuum. When it is nice outside, sometimes I get brushed outside, and then the wind blows my fur into the neighbors yard! This picture was taken a while ago. My friend Indy at http://indyscorner.blogspot.com/ had a post on pet fur being made into things, so now my mom is going to start saving my fur!

Haven't made a post in a while.

I think I've hit sort of a funk, if that is even possible for dogs....maybe it's just writers block! I have been trying to post some new pictures, but for some reason it was running pretty slow this evening. I will try and post some pics later this week. My mom and dad have had me now for 10 1/2 months, and already they have 950 pictures of me!!! My mom has done some of my pictures in a scrapbook, but there is so much more to do! I think that every now and then I will post some of my puppy pictures for all to see them! Puppies are soooo cute!
Hmmm, lets see...I made a new friend at petsmart! I am going there for classes. My new friends name is Sam. Mom and dad stayed a little late after class so I could play with him. Sam is a Dachshund, I can't remember how old he is, but we liked to play after class! I was so tired after playtime that I was so good on the way home, I just curled up and went to sleep.

Walks are great!

I love my walks! It's great when my mom takes me out, we always walk a differen route, so I never get bored! We use to get out for walks often, just around the block, or the double block, and that was great. But now we have been walking more. I'm not sure how far distance wise we walk, but we walk time wise 50-65 minutes! And ever since my mom got a Gentle Leader for me, I do alot better. I hated it at first, it wouldn't alow me to run ahead, now it is teaching me to walk right beside my mom, and she is always telling me to "heal" whatever that means;)! I have the greatest mom, I'm glad she takes me for walks. I wish my dad would take me sometimes, or atleast both mom and dad. It's starting to get warmer here so my mom can walk and not freeze. I don't understand, I stay nice and warm!

I start some classes at PETsMART on monday! Mom says it will be nice to have me trained and well behaved! I think she's hoping that I'll stop jumping when people come over to visit...I can't help it, I'm just excited, I love people!
