It feels like July is almost gone!

I had a good 4th of July. I didn't get to go to the BBQ that everyone else went to, but my parents did come back to our house to do fireworks. I stayed in the house and watched. The noise really didn't bother me like it does some dogs, I was pretty calm the whole night.

We had lots of guests staying at our house this past week. My Moms side of the family had a reunion, so that's why we had people stay over here. I really liked all of the kids that were here, and even some of the adults gave me some attention and played with me. Now all of the guests are gone and it is too quiet around here. I told them before they left that they are welcome to come and visit us in Texas when we get there. I got to play in the pool and the sprinklers with the kids too, that was really fun!

Now my mom is busy putting even more things into boxes, we are getting new carpet in the whole house next week, so everything had to be out of the way for the workers. Having this carpet done is ruining my plans. I was planning on Mom taking me to Seattle for three whole weeks to visit more family while my Dad is doing some work traveling to Denver, but now this carpet install is right in the middle of the three week time. Maybe it will work out to go for a week, come back for this carpet, and then leave for another week, that way I get lots of time in the car! I'll have to see what I can talk my parents into!

Hi Ender,
Would you mind linking to the Foster Dogs Blog that my mom started?

Thanks!

Hi Ender -
Maybe you can practice your circus dog skills by jumping from box to box! Just don't fall in!

I hope you get to go to an interesting place this summer with mom or dad.

The fireworks weren't so bad for me either this year!

Your parents are getting new carpets? Sorry Ender, I have to ask. Did you have anything to do with this... muddy paws tracked through out the house, a few unexpected barf incidents perhaps? I surely hope you had nothing to do with this carpet thing.

Hey Zach, our last move I did like to jump in the boxes...my mom took pictures and everything, it was very cute! Maybe in celebration of the move I will find those pictures and post them!

Cal, if all goes well and as planned I will be going up to the Seattle WA area! Cross your paws!

You are right about me having sonething to do with it...but in my defence...who gets white carpet with dogs, ya know, just cuz I'm white...

Well really, durring the flooding that happened at our house, when the carpet was put back there were some little carpet fibers that tasted very yummy, thus leaving a big hole! hen after that the condition of the carpet went down hill fast.
