Hey, yesterday at the family reunion, I met Schmoopy, our relative from Virginia. They came to pick up Schmoopy's new sister! Schmoopy's sister is sure a cutie!

JB, my half brother Schmoopy got a new sister, wait, now I'm having a brain cloud and don't remember if schmoopy is my half brother....you can read it over at hanas blog...I get so confused
Ender, you need to draw our family tree in the mud. That will help explain our tree and then it will be Clear as Mud :-)

And Schmoopy's new sister is from the litter of puppies.

Yes, Hana, when you put in on pawper it is a bit clearer...
the part where it gets unclear is if it's not on pawper and you just say that Schmoopy is half brother to me and Darcy. So Darcy's puppies are Schmoopy's nieces/nephews And his sister? If I didn't know better it would sound a little redneckish...It's a good thing humans don't have family trees like us dogs! It gets messy!
Um, I think what you said is right. Schmoopy is uncle to Darcy's puppies, just like you are uncle to Dary's puppies, except maybe Schmoopy is half uncle to Darcy's puppies????? Golly, gee, there should be a game show about dog lines!
However, I guess the proper term for the relation between Schmoopy and the new puppy is that Schmoopy has a new adopted sister, who happens to be his niece of sorts.
As for redneckish, how's this:
Juneau + Heather(?) = Touche
Juneau + Touche = puppies last year
A little weird to the humans, but perfectly normal in the dog world with reputable breeders who know what they are doing!
Oh Ender! We can't believe you had to wear Luke's clothes. At least get some that fit right and a more flattering color.
