A few thoughts...

Well, its too hot to think around here...outside that is! So I am really liking these air vents that the cold air comes out of, but they don't stay on. They go on, and then off, and then on, and then off...come on people, get it right....on, on, on, ON, ON! Cold, cold, cold, COLD! It is even hot enough that my pool is to warm and I need some fresh cold water in it. I do like to take rides in the car, because its always cold in there, and I don't even mind that the window is up, that's what keeps that hot air out! I do know it got up to 97 deg. out there. But it's confusing because when we drive through town, the signs with the numbers that say how hot it is are all different, 97, 99, 108 (yesterday one said 108!) 95, why can't they all be the same?

Well, it's just me and mom hanging out this week, and for the next few weeks. It should go by fast, lots to do...Well, lots to watch get done around here! Hey, someone has to supervise, why not me! I won't bark too much if things aren't done how I want! Oh well, just as long as it doesn't get to noisy in there, I don't want to be suffering from lack of sleep and a headache!

I know what you mean Ender about the heat - on New Years Day out here in Oz it was 45 degrees (that's about 115 in Farenheit). Charlie and I just about melted ! We stayed inside ALL day that day - and we didn't even want to go out to do wee-wee's on the grass. It was yucky !

Sadly, we have no air vents. We used to in the last place we lived, but now that we live in the country we have a different type of heating and cooling system.

It gets warm here in Alaska too .. although most dogs don't believe it. Today was in the high 70s - for us that's hot! We only have heating - no cooling at all. Some days it's just no fun at all. My Mom shaved off my hair and I'm much cooler now. She says I might look funny but I don't pant half as much. Maybe you should try the sprinkler to stay cool.

We feel for all of you. It gets hot here too with high humidity but at least we don't have long coats. Our coats are always short -- like Zach's after a shave. Mom keeps lots of water out for us and we stay in the air conditioned house while she is at work. Sadly, no vents to lay on since they are in the ceiling.

in our new house in texas the vents will be in the ceiling, I'm going to beg my mom to get me one of these:

That should do the trick!
