Where'd it go?

See me sleeping on my cozy bed by the window, where I like to peer out and look sometimes? Do you see what's perched outside my window while I sleep? Take a closer look....A BIRD! My mom finally decided to tell me to look- but as soon as I did it flew away! I didn't even have the chance to get some good loud barks in! Oh....and we got more snow/ice/freezing rain last night and today!

Finally!

I started waiting early early this morning, and by the time it was time to get up and out, I had my snow to lay in! But now I'm inside all snug again!

This *is* the life!

Here I am all snug and cozy inside while outside it's cold and blustery. Now normally I like the cold, but when it's 18* out and with the wind chill it feels like 5* out in TEXAS.... that's toooo cold for me! So here I snooze in my parents room, and occasionally bark at the kids slipping and sliding down the street on the icy, slightly snow covered roads.

Well, not really... see how the gate is opened? I can come and go as I please! But only at night after the kids are in bed, because during the day that gate keeps them out and safe, away from the fireplace! I like to go from my bed on the left, to the tile- and back and forth!

Remembering Aunt Hana

One year ago today, my wonderful Aunt Hana passed over the rainbow bridge.

In her honor, my Dad took me to Sonic for some French fries. I think Hana would have approved.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Hana's family today. We miss you Hana!

Lovin' the cooler weather!

And I love the table right up by the kitchen window! I smell all kinds of yummy smells when the window is open and my moms cooking dinner! I also like to rest here because I know it makes my mom smile!

New Blinds!

Here's me at the window where we finally got the new blinds. However, we've got to do something about these cords.

It's getting cooler in the evenings!

The cooler weather in the evenings means I can relax out on the back patio. Dad says if I bark too much he'll make me come inside, so I'm being real quiet right now.

Look at all the fun I'm missing!!

Half my family is on vacation, yup, it's just me and my dad doing the bachelor thing! My Mom, brother, and sister are in WA visiting my grandparents. They have a lot of squirrels and birds that they feed. The other day a squirrel even came in the house to retrieve a peanut!! I tell you- I miss all the good things!
