Someone has to be the financially savvy one in the family...
...Good thing it's me! I just thought that I would take some time to read this piece of mail that my parents were going to toss out! What would they do with out me? I'm going to propose that all the interest they earn goes to me! Doesn't that sound like a good idea?! Now, if only I could figure out how to get that ball in the bottom left hand corner to play with...then I would be set! And I think there logo should be a dog, not a lion!

Bloopers

So, Cooper and Ivy posted pictures of bloopers a while back, so I thought that I would post mine! This one on the left is the first one! If you look very close in the top left corner, you will see something other than white! I walked right in front of the camera as my mom was taking a picture of Luke!
And this one on the right is one of my favorite blooper pictures! We both have our mouths wide open! Luke is starting to get fussy, and I am having a big yawn! Luke's mouth is open lots, but not mine, so this picture was funny just because of that!

The toy basket.
This is me next to a toy. It is a very soft toy that I would really like to have. I am in Luke's room in this picture, but that's okay because Luke and my mom are here to. See, I have a problem with this picture. Why must I stay away from some toys and not others, it's not like I can tell the difference between the ones I can have and the ones I can't have. Now don't get me wrong, some toys I don't want to have...I don't need the ones that don't have stuffing, don't rattle, don't shake, don't have tags, or ones that don't taste good. I know, youre asking yourself what's left?
Well there are the ones that move all by themselves, the ones that have been sprayed with bitter apple, the ones that are too big for me to hide, and the ones that I have already tried once, and don't like! The picture over on the right here is my toy basket. It does have a lot of fun toys in it, and I did get a couple of new toys for Christmas and my barkday, but I have one problem with this toy basket...it's all by itself...one...no other basket next to it...all my toys fit into that ONE basket. ONE ONE ONE. Remember
ONE! This picture over on the left is a picture of Luke's toy baskets...did you catch that...baskets...as in more than one...TWO! And the worst part about that is that they have to be kept in the closet so I won't get in them! Luke has two baskets because the toys won't fit in one (like mine...my one basket)
And I am told that as Luke gets older he will always have more toys than me, that's fine by me, but I have to make sure that he will appreciate them! Now we come to the last picture. Do you see what the tag says? There must have been some kind of mix up! Maybe that toy should be in my basket and not Luke's after all I'm 3 years and up! Luke is just 4 months old! He is just not old enough to appreciate plush little toys like that! And I should offer that toy to be kept in my basket since there looks like there is no room in his baskets...isn't that the nice thing to do? I think so! Monday, February 11, 2008
A trip down memory lane...
...Whatever memory lane is...anyhow don't I look comfy and happy?! This picture was taken sometime in April I think, before I got my dog couch. Answers to some comment questions:
In answer to JB's question I'm not sure if I like cats. I deffinatly know what a cat is because everytime I see one I go nuts, and when my parents tease me and ask me where the cat is I go and look out the front window to try and find one. My mom says that she's not to sure what I would do if I was in the same room with a cat. I think I would like cats...they look fast, and fun to play with.
And yes, Hana, Luke IS supposed to hold still, that would make my job of cleaning him up that much easyier!
Oh...and I lost the bid for the bassinet. It went into a big box and is on its way to the garage. So now I'll just have to settle for the crib! Sssshhhhhh don't tell!
(for whatever reason spell check doesn't seem to want to work, so ignore the misspelled words...but then again I am a dog, so why should spelling matter?!)

I found a new comfy bed!
This is the post that my mom posted on the family blog!
This is what I found Ender doing a couple of times. We then started moving the bassinet away from the bed but that didn’t stop him from figuring out that he would then just have to jump into it to get whatever he wanted. We ended up taking down the bassinet anyhow because after almost 3 months Luke has outgrown his bassinet. He is within the weight range, but because he is long, and when he squirms his head gets smashed up against the top so we had to move him into something larger. We are (I am) not ready to move him into his crib yet because he still wakes up several times in the night to eat, and because at night we only heat our room so the rest of the house gets really cold at night, so he now sleeps in the pack and play that has a bassinet feature to it (which is great because without it I can’t reach the bottom to put Luke in or take him out).
Oh and Ender can now jump into the crib if the sides are down. I know this because I was playing with Luke in the crib one day and up jumped Ender. I have no idea if he will be able to jump into the crib with the side up. I guess that I will not be buying any baby gate to keep Ender out of places, that would just be a waste of money at this point.
Bye bye bassinet.
For two reasons:

I'm Baaaaack!
My Dad picked me up from the kennels Saturday afternoon and took me home where my Mom and Luke were waiting for me. I asked them what they got me and they told me of all the places they had been. I asked them what they got me. They told me about the North Shore and all of the surfers there and the huge waves. I asked them what they got me. They said that they had some yummy shaved ice and got t-shirts as a souvenir...but nothing for me. I asked what they got me. They also told me that they went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a day and saw many wonderful things and ate many wonderful kinds of food. Again I asked what did you get for Ender? By this point I was sure that I was being ignored. They did think of me...every time they saw a dog on the beach or out and about. But by the looks of things in the picture above, it looked way too sunny and warm for me! Well, my parents didn't bring me back anything from Hawaii, even though they saw some pretty cool things that I would have liked at the swap meet but they did get me a couple of new toys, one for Christmas, and one for my birthday.
Here is one of the new toys below. It is big and fuzzy and it is supposed to clean my teeth when I chew on it. Luke helped pick out my toys, he did a good job so I think that I will let him help pick out my toys more often! My Mom noticed that My bark sounded different, sort of deeper. My Dad said that it must be because I'm a man now! After all I am 3 in human years, so that makes me what, 21 in dog years? Oh and instead of cake I got new treats! My parents are changing my diet. They noticed in the food I was eating that the recipe had changed and that it had cheapened the food so now I get to try this new food, and boy do I like it better! The past two time that I have eaten I have left the old stuff in the bowl. I say no more mixing it, I am use to it already! Give me the good stuff! So the treats are made by the same company Yummmmy!
Here is the second toy that I got. This one has a squeaker in it (not for long)! I'm glad that my family is home now. Next Christmas we all get to go to Seattle, and there have been promises of finding snow! I think that I will keep what I did at the kennels a secret, I will let my parents think that they had more fun than me. That way they will go out of town again and I will get a vacation too!

Sorry, no pictures...but...
...I'll be out of the loop for awhile. I needed a vacation from my parents. I demanded to go to the kennel and have a two week break! I asked if Luke could come with me, but apparently the kennels are only for dogs and cats. Since I am going to be gone for two weeks and will not be at home to take care of my parents and Luke, I said that it was okay for them to go on a trip. So where did they decide to go...Hawaii! I'm not mad or anything, after all it will be way too hot for me there, and I will have a lot of fun where I will be! My parents will get back on my birthday and we will celebrate! I will be 3! I should buy myself a present! Does anyone have any ideas of what I should get for myself?

Here I am being helpful!

I like to watch Luke sleep. He sure does sleep a lot...just like me! Except when he doesn't sleep...not like me! I keep a close eye on him, to make sure that he has good dreams. And when his pacifier falls out, I like to try and take it...but I am always told NO! Right mow Luke sleeps next to the bed. It's great because when he sleeps there, I still get my spot on the bed right next to Mom and Dad!
Here I am rocking the cradle! I like to be helpful, and I do this without being asked! I can't wait for Luke to be running around the couch with me! Just think of all the things that I will be able to teach him!
