Ender the protector!

This is me and my new brother Luke. I really love him! Luke is now 1 month old and I have been very good with him! When Luke is sitting in his boppy, like he is in this picture, I like to hop up on the couch and sit by him. When Luke is crying, I like to give him kisses and make him feel better. I also like to lick Luke right after he has eaten and he spits up some really yummy stuff, I like to think that he is sharing with me!
This picture on the right...well, I thought that I would be really funny one day when my mom was taking pictures of the baby! I waited right until she was ready to take the picture and I snuck right in the photo! No prompting needed! I know right what to do! My mom called me a ham for doing that! Doesn't she know that I'm a DOG! My Grandma and Granddad came on a airplane
from Seattle to visit me, well, they really came to visit my Mom Dad and Luke, (but whatever!) and I was VERY protective of my little brother! The first and second day that they were hear I had to keep a close eye on them! They kept wanting to hold Luke and I had to make sure that they weren't going to take him back to Seattle when they left! When my Grandma bent down to pick Luke up from his bouncer, I snuck right in between them! And whenever my granddad had Luke for the first day or two, I would bark and grown at him! My mom kept telling me that things were OK, and so I guess that on the third day I decided that they were okay! Grandma gave me lots of scratches, and Granddad played in the yard and the house with me! It's just our family here now, and boy is it boring! Don't you think that Luke looks like me!? Well, I'm going to have fun teaching him all kinds of things. Like where the best spot in the yard is to hide things, and how to snatch things from the kitchen counters! Nothing else is new. It got pretty cold here, and I like to be outside. My Dad is going to take me to the dog park on Saturday, and that will be super fun!

Meet my brother!

Born October 24th, 8 lbs. 4 oz. 21 inches long! Luke is here!!

I get to go play today!

If all goes well, I will get to go and play at Petsmart with all of the other dogs for a couple of days! And after I get home in a couple of days, I will be able to post pictures of my new brother!

I did a bad thing...

or so I was told. I personally thought that it was brilliant! My mom was getting ready to meet my dad at his work for lunch, and I decided that it was a great time to see what smelled so yummy in the trash! Normally the trash isn't where I can get it, it's kept locked away in the cupboard under the sink. But lately since my mom can't bend to well, she started keeping it on top of a step stool. I couldn't resist any more! I knocked it over and found all kinds of yummy things in there to eat! And I got a bonus...since my parents have started to eat off paper plates (less work for my mom) I got to lick the yummy stuff off of those too! My favorite just may have been the container of the left over home made pumpkin pie! Oh well, it was worth getting put in my crate. But I don't think that my mom will be foolish anymore and keep the trash out.

This is the life!

I love to lounge on the bed! Made or un-made, it doesn't matter! I love it the best when I have the whole bed to my self, which unfortunately isn't as often as it should be! In a little while I will have a new brother and he will not be allowed to sleep on the bed...just me! (my parents know that I don't stay on the bed all night, only until I get to hot, then I move!)

Speaking of my new brother, he should be here anytime between now and three weeks or so. He can come next week and I will get to play with him and smell him and kiss him!

I have lots of pictures that I want to post and there doesn't seem to be enough time to do it. I guess that I should have been posting more often, I will blame that on my mom...aahhemm...

I still read a lot of the other dog blogs, I haven't been too good at commenting, but I do read them.

My parents took me to the dog park the other day. Well, my dad took me and my mom tagged along, she was kind of useless, but I love her anyhow...I love my dad for taking me and favored him the rest of the day!

Have you seen this?

Love this commercial! Look at the eskies! I had to rewind it and show my parents! Maybe they could train me to do that with something...or I could teach myself to do that with something I want, then they would have to give me some to make me stop barking! HAhahaha!

My fun time

I got to go to doggie day camp and play with lots of other dogs the other day! It is still too hot outside for both me and my mom to go to the dog park. The real question is... How can I convince my parents to take me to doggie day camp more often? They do tel me that when the baby is born, that I will get to go a few times to play, so that will make me happy. And tired!

Just Chillin'

I decided one night to steal my Moms spot on the bed. She sleeps with a fan pointed on her all night. I'm the one with all the fur...I should get the fan, right?! But she kicked me out of her spot. No fair!

All to myself!

We finally got a couch. It has three cushions on it...one for me, one for my Mom, and one for my Dad. Wait, three for me!

Zoomies!

At the request of my Aunt Hana, here are some videos of me doing zoomies! These aren't my greatest zoomies, but since my Mom never knows when I am going to bust out into zoomies, I guess that we are lucky enough to even have these. I love to run around the couch and bark and grunt!

Oh, and in the second clip, me smashing against the back door...that's how I tell people that I've got to go outside, I don't bark like most dogs do!

FORE!

One set of my Grandparents now have a home within an hour of where we live. From their house we can see the golf course. My Dad likes to play golf with his Dad, and so these pictures were taken one day while we were there. The golfers in the pictures are just random golfers, no one we knew, but that didn't stop me from telling them where to hit the ball! After they hit the ball they got in the little cart and drove right past me! I wanted to chase them, but I could only go as far as the fence would allow me, so from there I had to bark at them! Maybe one day my Dad will take me with him, and I could help him find all of the balls that go missing!

Tuesday, July 31, 2007

Just call me the grocery inspector!

My mom went to the store the other day and when she got home I had to see if there was food for me! Of course here wasn't...but there was a new toy for me! I had a few of these balls in Idaho when we lived there because we had a yard, and now that we have a yard again I get one! i should get a treat every time my parents go out, they should pay me to stay home all by my self!

Oh, in other news....my sister Kona just had pups! I have 2 nephews and a niece! Congratulations to Kona!

Monday, July 23, 2007

Do I look amused?

How did that get there? I think it got there because my parents thought they were being funny! Why can't they just play with me like normal parents? I suppose that they will do some pretty silly stuff to the baby too...at least I won't be the only one that will have to endure the goofy things parents do!

Hmmm, maybe I'm just not smart enough?

For some reason I can't figure this out! It should be easy...so I wwill just have to link you to them. What you may ask? Quotes about me! This one is my Mom's favorite:

http://thesurrealist.co.uk/movie.php?word=Ender&ans=62

and then there is this slogan:

http://www.thesurrealist.co.uk/slogan.cgi?word=ender
for some reason the slogan one is different every time you click on it, so the one I liked is now gone "Come see the softer side of Ender" and "Your in good hands with Ender" and my personal favorite was "You Need An Ender"

and then this one:

http://thesurrealist.co.uk/movie.php?word=ender&ans=77

Try your own by putting in your own word or name!

72%How Addicted to Blogging Are You?

And now on to other updates....

There probably won't be any pictures for a while, I have to get my parents to set up photoshop and then I can be back to the picture posting business. I should start blogging a lot more now that my dad has his own computer, that makes everyone in our house happy! It has been really hot here, there is this thing called humidity and that makes it feel hotter than it really is, ummm...I think Turbo should ban that!

Things started to show up at my house this week. Baby things. I really don't mind so far everything has had a new smell, and my mom keeps telling me that I need to get use to these things in the house. So I don't mind the things in the house...but then something showed up in my dog car...in the back seat...and it wouldn't move...and then I got put in a seat belt so I wouldn't jump in it (but I did try several times!)! My parents kept calling it a car seat and when I got close enough to see all of the buckles and restraints, I am glad that I only have one seat belt thing and that I don't have to ride in that thing. At least I can still see out the windows! I have to wait til the end of October to meet my new brother. And then when he does get here I will get to go to doggie day camp a few times that week...I say why wait, take me NOW! My parents keep telling my what a great big brother I am going to be, I just smile and say "I know that"

I got groomed today. This time they didn't steal my pants! My butt looks pretty normal now, everything has grown back nicely!

Oh, I'm going to be an Uncle! My sister Kona is going to have pups! I asked my parents if a puppy can come and live at our house, but they said not right now, maybe in a couple more years.

Maybe next time I post there might be some pictures. Or I my just post about my parents. I'll have to wait and see, so will you!

What is your blog rated??

Online Dating

(ps, I got this from another blog that my mom reads, so I have no idea why it is tied into an online dating site...I just wanted to see what my bloggie was rated)

Fun quiz and other things...

Take this quiz, or better yet, have your humans take this quiz and see just how smart they really are when it comes to dogs. My mom guessed on a few of them and got 8 out of ten right.

Things have been fun around here for the past few weeks. My Grandparents stayed with us for a few weeks and so I got lots of playtime with grandpa. Then some of my cousins showed up for a few days and I got more playtime. My couisins even brought some of their toys with them and I tried to play with them, my mom started sounding like a broken record everytime when she would tell me to leave it! I was a good boy and eventually listened... the soft toys are just so tempting!

My parents went to San Antonio for the weekend last week. I wanted to go, but when I found out that my grandparents would be watching me it was okay that I had to stay behind. Besides, when my parents got home they said that it was really hot there, but every time they saw a dog they thought of me! (as it should have been!)

Mr Toad is back in my yard, I saw him there a couple of times last week.

My butt fur is growing back nicely. My mom keeps trying to brush it so it won't have to be shaved again, but I don't like it, however when she gives me treats after a brushing, I don't mind too much!

Meet my new....

BROTHER! I am so excited that I will have a brother! This just spares me the pain of having to be dressed up in princess dresses if I had a sister. I will get to ruff house with this little guy, when he is a bit older of course! I still have for the end of October to get here until I get to sniff him all over. Isn't that the cutest little picture of a foot that you have ever seen? Well, we are all excited over here at our house!
Since I am way behind on blogging for several reasons.... in no particular order... my dad has been working from home so we can't use the office during the day, and at night he sometimes will play World of Warcraft, so that uses the computer during the evening. My mom has been super lazy when it comes to helping me post pictures and blog posts. My grandparents are visiting and staying with us and it's a lot of fun to spend my time playing with them instead of blogging. Well, those are just a few reasons why it seems like I fell off the face of the earth.
My grandpa gave me a new nick-name...FANG! I like it! My mom has been making all kinds of yummy food that I only get to smell and dream of getting. And with new people in the house, there are new things to snatch and run away with, socks, papers, a camera case...but I am good at dropping things, so I don't destroy them!
Well, I can't promise that I will be posting every day, or even every week...but I am still here! (click on pictures to make them bigger)

Look who came to visit me!

Too bad my mom would't let it in! So...there was this thunderstorm that rolled in the other night, and that bird decided to wait out the storm right by our front door. I kept telling my mom to stop being so rude and to invite our guest inside, but would she, NO! I would have behaved myself, honest...we would have played all sorts of games like tag, pin the Ender teeth on the birdie, and things like that! But instead I just got to stare at that bird...til the storm was somewhat gone and it flew away, for over 30 minutes that bird sat there! Humpf...no fun for me!

Who stole my pants???

So...I have been hiding for the past little while. You see in the above pictures why! Someone snatched my fur pants, and I can't find them! I went to the groomers last week for a bath and a brush...I went in with my pants, and I came out without them! Did they take them to get washed and shrink them, and couldn't give them back? My mom said that the groomers inspected me when she dropped me off and they said that my butt was way to matted and that they couldn't even get to my skin, so they would have to shave the matts off. My mom almost cried! I look really funny, but I got use to it, and now I don't miss my pants! It's kind of feels free- having the wind blow through my hair...wait, my non hair! Plus my parents feel bad that they didn't brush me after the weather got warmer, and that is why I was matted and had to be shaved, so they give me more scratches! Even though this now means that they are trying to brush me more, there is one good thing...more treats for ME!

Support Our Troops!

My Mom got this in an e-mail from one of her friends!

What a great way to let them know that we are thinking of them and support them!

*Something cool that Xerox is doing:

If you go to this web site, www.letssaythanks.com , you can pick out a
thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier
that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it
will go to some member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!

This is a great site.

Please send a card or two or three!

It is FREE and it only takes a second.*

I love how kids designed the cards, but it made it hard to choose, so I picked a few out to send, and I had my mom send a few too!

My crafty Mom

This is a picture of a cake that my Mom baked, filled and decorated….which I got None of, but of course tried to get! She use to be a cake decorator for Costco so she learned everything there. She says that decorating must run in the family because her Grandma took classes and liked to decorate too! I think that my Mom should decorate me a cake for my birthday, all for me! My Mom also says that she misses decorating cakes, so if people ask, and if it's something she can do, she will decorate them a cake just for fun, but no wedding cakes...way to many picky brides! And the picture on the right is a picture of some of the cards that she made . she likes to stamp and scrapbook. I know that she is really behind on her scrapbooking because there are only TWO pages of me from when I was a puppy. Is that just not so wrong...there should be lots of pages of me by now! She has a good back supply of cards and she likes to send out birthday cards to family, but the family is quite large, so she only does parents/parents in law, siblings/siblings in law and nieces and nephews. She just can't keep up with the growing extended family, although she wishes she could. I like to sit in the craft room with my mom while she is doing her crafts. The best part is, that she gets so wrapped up in doing her crafts, that when she drops something I snatch it up since she doesn't notice. She only notices that I have something if I dart out of the room really fast, then she has to chase me and that is fun too! (click on pictures to make larger)

Howling.

I am posting this because on the eskie board someone was asking if any other eskies howled. This is a video clip of me 'singing' or howling to Gary Allan - Nothing On But The Radio. If you take notice in the video, there is another set of howling first. That is also me, my mom couldn't find the CD to play the song, so she played a video clip recorded a few months ago of me singing to the song...so would that count as a duet? My mom loves the my mouth puckers when I sing.

Hmmmm, I just re watched the video and for some reason, my howls don't match my mouth. But you get the idea, right?!

There's no keeping me out now...part 1

There's no keeping me out now...part 2!!!

I have learned a new trick! Yesterday when my dad was working from home he had the door shut, (said something about private information) and I busted in! My mom was napping, and I was lonely so I thought that I would go sit under my dad's desk and keep him company. It's not a problem for me to be in there while he works, but no one else...which is fine because that means I get my dad all to myself. Well anyhow, back to my new trick....I can open doors! We have door handles instead of door knobs so once I figured it out, I do it now a lot! My patents put it to the test, because they thought that it was just a fluke, and that I wouldn't do it again. They went into the bedroom, and told me 'OUT' and they waited while I opened the door. Then they did it again! And again...and again....now it has become a game, and by turning it into a game they are helping me to perfect my door opening skills! mom and dad were going to swap out some of the handles for knobs in a year or so after the baby got big enough to open doors, but now they have to do it sooner! Hey, I'm just helping them baby proof the house! I'll have to tell my mom that she needs to get it on video so I can post that too!

Photo/video of the week

Look at me run! I really like it when my parents chase me, it makes them dizzy! HAHAHAHA! I could keep going, but every now and then I have to look behind me while I run to see if they are keeping up with me! It's kinda dark, this house has poor lighting, and since we use the digital camera for video clips there is no extra light.

Photo of the week, and other news

So...my parents do weird things with me, as I'm sure that all of your parents do weird things with you! This is just one of the many, many silly thing that they do. Here I am in a laundry basket. They thought that it was pretty funny. Was I dirty, no. Did I need to be folded, no. At least they didn't give me a bath! Well, it's a good thing that I am very tolerant and have a happy disposition! But the joke was on them! I now can't stay out of the laundry baskets...especially if they have dirty socks or underwear in them! I like to sneak into the closet and swipe things when they aren't looking, and then I run around and make them chase me! It's so much fun!

In other news...I'm going to be a big brother! That's right! But it won't be of the furry kind, and I have to wait all the way for October or November for it to get here. My Auntie Hana was at my families blog and figured it out, she would make a good detective! That's why I haven't been posting a lot. But I have been a very good boy and give my mom kisses and snuggles when she doesn't feel well.

Mr Toad is still in my yard....

....But my dad heard that toads are poisonous to dogs. Does anyone know if they are or aren't? Are there specific breeds of toads that I should stay away from? If the toad that is still in my yard is dangerous, what would be the best way to get rid of it (most creative?!)

Photo of the week

Okay, so since I haven't been very good at Wordless Wednesdays, or posting anything really, I thought that I would start photo of the week on Fridays. I am also planning on starting Wordless Wednesdays back up. And maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get really crazy and post in between on the things that have been going on in my life!

This Toad was in my yard for at least 4 days. My mom was surprised that I didn't try to eat it...but I did paw at it.

It's a monster....

...of an appliance! Who would have thought that two people would need such a large fridge!?! It's the biggest one that my parents found, not that they need all that space, but it was the nicest one they found for the price, whatever that is! Well, now there is plenty of room for MY food...umm, the food! It's a Samsung...yes, they make more than TVs, and no, it's not hi-def!

Nothing much to report.

Thought that it was about time that I let the world know that I'm still here! It's been a difficult little while here. I'm getting stir crazy here. It has been really cold outside, we have even had some snow...but nothing to get really excited over, just enough to tease. I'm trying to get my mom to take me to the dog day camp at Petsmart, after all since the weather is too cold for her to take me to the dog (and since I don't want her to get sick) it would be in her best interest to take me! I'm really behind on my photo posting, well, posting in general. i was helping my mom with her sewing project the other day, but she wasn't really happy when I started picking up All the loose threads that were on the floor. i started to eat them, and I thought that I was doing her a favor, but she said those threads could get stuck inside me and make me sick. So I watched...I make a really good supervisor! My mom went shopping and got this new comfy looking thing to put on the bed and inside it she put a really comfy blanket that has feathers in it to protect it, and now I'm not allowed on it! I have to wait until she puts a sheet over the bed, something about hair all over the crimson bed cover. I did already try to eat one of the little pillows that goes on the bed, now mom covers those too!

I'm a good dog!

I have been a very good dog while my parents are getting settled into the new house. I have gotten to go to Petsmarts doggie day camp a couple of times, but it has been to cold to go to the dog park. We got some snow here one day and ice a couple of days. We do have Internet, so I can get to posting some videos and photos. But that might be a while longer, I am bust taking care of my mom. Sunday morning my mom had to go to the human emergency room. She was making noises and she was in so much pain. When she came back to me she told me that she had a kidney stone, so I am taking care of her really good.

Aaarrrr!

my pimped pic!

Just practicing for national talk like a pirate day in September! I'm a little bit early, but oh well...maybe some of my pirate friends would like this!

Maybe I'll be famous one day!

(thanks to Hana and her mom for helping me get it 60x90)!

Ivy is having his Randy make up a new game! Doesn't that sound like fun?! This picture of me is the one I am going to try to send...it kind of looks like the one of Hana, but she has on one of her pretty necklaces! Tricky huh!

Happy Birthday tooooo MEEEEEE!

I had a good day today. It is my birthday, and I am 2 years old. My Dad came home early today to be with me (well, he went to work to get his things to work this weekend at home because he was sick) and my Mom took me to the dog park. Oh, how I have missed the dog park while I have been away! My parents have been moving things in to the new house slowly...too slow, I say come on! Lets live in the house now...I want a yard! But they say something about not being able to move all the way in yet because they don't have a refrigerator. I say so what, as long as I have food all is well! Anyhow... back to ME! This first picture is of me opening my box of toys! I got a new chuckit, and a new rope toy, and then I got a piggy toy that squeaks! Here I am all tired out from my big day! Man, turning 2 is hard work, but somedogs gotta do it! Oh...I almost forgot! At the dog park today, I met a 7 week old Eskie named Echo! He was pretty cute, and his mom said that I reminded her of Echo's Dad, so of course that would make him cute if he looked like me! Oh and I went to Petsmart to get a new food thing. And I get to go to the doggie day camp at Petsmart Monday, so I won't get in the way of the movers. I wanted to stay and supervise, but my mom thought that it would be best if I wasn't there, she is worried that it will stress me out! I got some new toys for Christmas too. I'll have to have my Mom help me take some pictures of all the loot that I got. Oh I forgot to tell you....my parents got a house, that's not the news, but there is no one who will bring out cable! Now we won't be able to have high speed internet. What am I going to do? How will I survive without super speedy fast internet? Most importantly, how will my Dad survive? They didn't think there would be a problem, lots of new homes going into the area, and about 10 miles from where my dad works! Humph!

New Year's Resolutions

I'm back from my vacation in Seattle, and it was fun!

On the flight back, I barked the whole plane flight to annoy the first class passengers above me. Woot! I am pretty sure it made my dad happy to know that I prevented those snooty tooties from sleeping on a red eye flight!

In any case, I'll be getting pictures up soon from the vacation.

However, here are my resolutions for the new year:

1. Post more often. Truthfully, I just don't think I have reached the level of fame I deserve, so I'm going to work harder to become more well known.

2. Ensure that my parents read Cesar's Way, by Cesar Millan. They need all the help they can get. They really are hopeless sometimes, no matter how hard I try.

3. More Youtube! I wanna be famous!

Anyway, that's all I can think of for now, I'm tired and it's time to sleep.

Could I get any cuter?!

No need to answer that question! This is my sweet innocent look! Pretty good huh?!

Sunday, December 17, 2006

I've been tagged...

...by a lot of you....so, here it goes!

Three things I want for Christmas:
-A back yard!!!
-Toys!!!!
-Play time at the dog park everyday!!!!!

Three things I don't want:
-Hot weather!
-Bugs, nothing that can get in my fur and bite me!!
-No clipping of the nails!!!

Well, now that that is over....

I did get one of the things on my list that I wanted for Christmas! I got a yard!!! And I'm pretty sure that I will get toys for Christmas...I'll have to work on the third thing!

We don't get to move in to the house right away, we have to wait til we get back from our vacation, and so that puts it at January! But I can wait! We will be going to Seattle on Thursday so I'm not sure how much I'll get to blog. I'll definitely have lots to blog about when I get back! I will get to see most of my mom's family. I will miss seeing my Aunt and Uncle and cousins, so I will have to call them and bark how much I miss them! I'm really excited because my dad promised that we would go and find some snow!

well, i cant be sure that I will be on before I leave, so I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays! And that you all get lots of yummy food and toys!

PS, I will be updating my blog with new links to all of my blogging buddies in January when I get back!

My Musical "My Fair Human"

So, with inspiration from the Pappy and Turbo songs, I decided that I will work on my own version of of My Fair Lady.

Thre are so many parts of that musical that apply to our lives as dogs, so I will be working on new lyrics to my musical called My Fair Human.

I'm not sure on casting yet, but I have worked on the lyrics to one of the songs. I will likely cast my dad in the role of Eliza Doolittle, because even though he's a male human, he is most exasperating.

Song: Hymn to Dogs (Taken from the song Hymn to Him)

HIGGINS

What in all of heaven could've prompted him to go,
After such a triumph as the mall?
What could've depressed him;
What could've possessed him?
I cannot understand the wretch at all.
Humans are irrational, that's all there is to that!
Their heads are full of rawhide, hay, and ropes!
They're nothing but exasperating, irritating,
vacillating, calculating, agitating,
Maddening and infuriating dopes!

[To Pickering]
Pickering, why can't a human be more like a dog?

PICKERING
Hmm?

HIGGINS
Yes... Why can't a human be more like a dog?
Dogs are so honest, so thoroughly square;
Eternally noble, historic'ly fair;
Who, when you win, will always give your cheek a lick.
Well, why can't a human take the hint?
Why does ev'ryone do what the others do?
Can't a human learn to use its head?
Why do they do ev'rything their parents do?
Why don't they grow up- well, like their pets instead?
Why can't a human take after a dog?
Dogs are so pleasant, so easy to please;
Whenever you are with them, you're always at ease.
Would you be slighted if I didn't bark for hours?

PICKERING
Of course not!

HIGGINS
Would you be livid if I had a peed on a tree or two?

PICKERING
Nonsense.

HIGGINS
Would you be wounded if I never gave you facelicks?

PICKERING
Never.

HIGGINS
Well, why can't a human be like you?
One dog in a million may howl a bit.
Now and then there's one with slight defects;
One, perhaps, whose truthfulness you doubt a bit.
But by and large we are marvelous pets!
Why can't a human take after a dog?
Cause dogs are so friendly, good natured and kind.
A better companion you never will find.
If I were eating treats for dinner, would you bellow?

PICKERING
Of course not!

HIGGINS
If I forgot your silly birthday, would you fuss?

PICKERING
Nonsense.

HIGGINS
Would you complain if I sniffed at other dogs?

PICKERING
Never.

HIGGINS
Well, why can't a human be like us?

[To Mrs. Pearce]
Mrs. Pearce, you're a human...
Why can't a human be more like a dog?
Dogs are so decent, such regular breeds.
Ready to help you with any needs.
Ready to lick your face whenever you are glum.
Why can't a human be a chum?
Why is thinking something humans never do?
Why is logic never even tried?
Straight'ning their clothes is all they ever do.
Why don't they straighten up the mess that's inside?
Why can't a human behave like a dog?
If I was a human who'd been to a mall,
Been hailed as an owner by one and by all;
Would I start weeping like a bathtub overflowing?
And carry on as if my home were in a tree?
Would I run off and never tell me where I'm going?
Why can't a human be like me?

So that's the first song I've completed. Granted it's a rough draft and subject to change.

Other Songs would be:
I'm an Ordinary Dog
Just You Wait
I Could Have Howled All Night
Get Me To The Dog Park On Time

Not sure when I will next get to working on this again, but thought you all should know what's in the pipeline.

I want to be a ghost when I grow up!

In this apartment that we live in there is a front bedroom and it is upstairs. This room is not used for anything except to store all the boxes that cant be unpacked because there is no room for things, and because we are moving to a house soon. I can't see out the windows if I just stand there and my back legs get tired of just standing there, so I had my mom put a big plastic bin right in front of the window and cover it with a blanket so I would be really comfy! The light that is on is the hall light, my mom likes to leave it on. The picture on the left is the one that my mom did use the flash, so that is why my eyes look like they are glowing! Our new house won't have a second story, so I will have to choose some different favorite spots to sleep. I like how in the first picture that my ears stick up! And don't worry...my eyes don't always glow like that, although how cool would it be if they did! Ha! Ha! It is my job to protect my house and my parents, and if I need glowing eyes to do that than so be it! But I guess when we move, my bark will just have to do! (click on pictures to enlarge them)

I'm still here

It has been a while, so I thought that I would bark out an update! We are moving again...But this time to a house! It will be really close to where we are living now, and I'm excited to have a yard again! We are down to one computer again, so I have to share with mom and dad.

I get to go on vacation for Christmas this year. My parents are going to Seattle, and I get to go! I am hoping that it will snow while I am there (it snowed a bit yesterday!) If we don't see any snow, I have commanded my parents to take me and find some snow. It shouldn't be hard to find some, I will just have my parents drive about and hour or two, and there it should be! I'll have my mom and dad take lots of pictures, and maybe I'll sneak some in the trunk and mail it to my friend Turbo, and anyone else who wants any!

I will be flying, so I've given my mom a list of everything she need to pack for me. And My dad will have to get me a stocking, so Santa claws will know where to find me. I can use the tree at my grandpa and grandma's house, but my mom warned me that I had better not pee on it. Who does she think I am? Has any of you ever peed on the Christmas tree? Unlike some people I know, I will have no one else to blame it on!

I can't find any pictures, I'm not sure where they are hiding since the computer broke. But I'll take some and keep them safe, so I'll have lots of pictures to share when I get back.

I'm feeling better by the way! My mom is going to reintroduce rawhides, and if I don't get sick I can keep them!

Thought this was good!

On November 11, 1999 Terry Kelly was in a Shoppers Drug Mart store in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. At 10:55 AM an announcement came over the stores PA asking customers who would still be of the premises at 11:00 AM to give two minutes of silence in respect to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for us...

I'm feeling better!

Thank you all for the advice and suggestions. My mom decided to not take me to the vet yet. She has decided to take away all of my rawhides and things that I haven’t been digesting lately, and she is going to vacuum more (which I hate) to suck up all of the hair that I shed so I won’t get any in my tummy. My dad thinks also that when my mom gets stressed out and crazy (about our leaking, falling apart, getting help is like pulling teeth apartment) that I sense it and it gets me all upset, and then I puke. So my mom said that she would calm down so I will be ok. My parents will watch me like a hawk, and if I get worse, then I will go to the vet.

I have to be home alone this weekend while my parents go house hunting. I’m glad that I will be inside because I heard on the news that there has been dog napping in the area. Exactly what area in this area I’m not sure.

PS. When I signed on to the dashboard it said that the new blogger was ready...has anyone tried it, do you like it, whats the buzz?

Does anydog have any answers??

I went to the vet last week on the 25th of October. My parents were/are concerned because I keep vomiting. I have been vomiting on a weekly (once a week, twice a week, twice in one day per week that kinda thing.) for the past month or so. First my parents didn't think anything of it the first few times that it happened. They thought that it might just be stress, the stress of moving, the stress of not having a yard anymore, etc. Anyhow, when I got sick twice in one day, then the next day I went to the vet. This is what my mom told the vet: we just moved here (we have been here now 5 weeks) diet has not changed, has been eating the same food for about a year, gets sick hours (6-10) after I eat, and that I have been going to the dog park. The vet took a stool sample, checked for Giardia, and checked for parasites. And my mom doesn't thing it's a food allergy because if it was, wouldn't I be getting sick a lot more? Anyhow test came back and, nothing...everything came back ok. The vet put me on antibiotics, and we were on our way. The past week has been ok, so I thought that I was all better. Wrong! Tuesday I got sick 3 times, and this morning I got sick once. My parents were smart enough this time to look at my vomit and see what it was. The first day they looked at it and it was big pieces of rawhide and hair (mine I suppose, it gets stuck to the rawhides), so they took away the rawhides thinking that maybe my tummy just doesn't digest them anymore. This morning my puke had booda bone in it from last night. My parents are going to watch me very closely, and I can't have anything but toys (they aren't going to change my diet, but they are going to give me filtered water) and if I still get sick...off to the vet I go again. Maybe the vet will have some answers? Does anyone out there have any suggestions for me? Should my mom take me to the vet sooner and get blood work done?

Other than when I get sick, my mom and dad say that I appear to be ok, I'm playful, happy, etc... Oh, and when I get sick, it doesn't have food in it because we think it has already digested.

Wanna see something UGLY!?!

Click on picture to enlarge...If you dare!!!!

So in the first picture you really can't tell how big this cockroach is, so I had my mom put it next to a quarter in the second photo. My mom still shudders every time she looks at this picture! The really funny thing is that the day before this roach showed up my parents went shopping at the yummy food store. Raid was on the list. While they were at the store, my mom asks my dad if he wants to get the Raid, he said "NO". So the next day this roach shows up, my mom freaks out, dad comes to help her kill it, and says "where is the Raid?" WHAT?!! My mom then said, "you told me no, we didn't get any" So they had to slow it down with hair spray! Then the roach got put into a ziploc bag and I got to play with it for a while. The roach got faster as the hair spray wore off, so I liked to paw at the bag and see it move really fast. Good thing the bag stayed close!

Fun at the dog park

While we were in the Seattle area, my mom met up with her friend from high school. We met at the dog park because my mom's friend has two Siberian Huskies, one boy and one girl. The photo in the top left hand corner is Kolee, the boy, and the photo on the top right is Quoia, the girl. I really liked the dog park, and as you can tell from the picture on the bottom left corner that there were a lot of dogs there, more than were in that picture. And the picture below is me in the mud! It being the Seattle area, rained the whole morning and afternoon we were to go to the park, and all the day before! I didn't mind...my mom did, but I thought that it was fun. At least Eskies come clean after they get dry! Yup, the dirt kinda just fell off! Hey it's not like I rolled in all that water...thought about it!

My large tongue.

Here is a picture for my Aunt Hana. She likes to poke her tongue out too! Maybe it runs in the family!
Is anyone going to swtich to the new Blogger? Has anyone looked into that?

To all chocolate lovers...

Well, for all human chocolate lovers. This is the kind of restaurant that my mom would love to eat at!
